We adopt a position of zero tolerance for all forms of corruption, bribery and unethical business practice, and continuously consider and address the reputational impact of the business decisions we make. KCB Group also fully adheres to the Central Bank of Kenya Prudential Guidelines 2013 and the Consumer Protection Act 2012. Through its Risk Management Committee, the board exercises its responsibility of overseeing the management of the Group’s compliance risk, whilst Management is charged with the implementation of the Compliance Charter & Policy that has been reviewed and approved by the board.
The Group has an independent compliance function that provides assistance to both the board and management in complying with applicable laws, rules, codes and standards.
